What Random Art stands for

Human-made only

Random Art is a home for art made by people. Work generated by AI tools is not allowed here, in whole or in part: no AI-generated images, no AI compositing passed off as drawing, no tracing over generated output.

Using a computer is obviously fine. Digital brushes, 3D references, photo references, rulers and fill tools are tools; a model that fabricates the image for you is not. If a reasonable artist would say you drew it, you are welcome.

AI-generated work is removed when we find it or when it is reported. Repeat offenders are banned. By uploading, you confirm your work is your own and made without generative AI.

Your art stays yours

Publishing on Random Art grants us exactly one thing: permission to display your work on your pages and where you share it. No rights grabs, no training datasets, no sublicensing. You can delete your work or your account at any time.

Original work only

Random Art is for work you own: your own characters, stories and worlds. Reposting other people's art, even with credit, is not allowed.

Fan art and anything built on someone else's copyrighted characters or universe is not allowed here, whether you give it away or sell it. We are a place where you sell your work and keep your rights, so everything published has to be yours to sell. This keeps your money clean and keeps the platform out of other people's copyrights.

Protecting your work

Every upload can carry a watermark, and Pro artists can customize it and add an anti-AI pattern. Right-click saving and dragging are blocked on artwork pages. No protection is absolute on the web, and we say so honestly, but we make scraping and reposting as painful as we can.

Community

Critique the work, respect the person. Harassment, hate speech and spam have no place here, in comments or anywhere else. Artists can moderate comments on their own works and disable them entirely.

Mature themes are part of art; publish them responsibly. Content that is illegal or that sexualizes minors leads to immediate removal and a ban, with no second chance.

Reporting

If you believe a work is AI-generated, stolen, or breaks these rules, use the report link on the work's page. A human reviews every report. False reports made to harass an artist are treated as harassment.
